Karney Announces New EP BETTER

Anna Karney has been making great music for many years, performing across the United States and collaborating with many talented and notable artists. As a solo artist she has put out several singles and EPs, and now with her band KARNEY is set to release a new EP titled BETTER, a stunning collection of original new songs together with a remix, and a cover of 'Ramble On,' one of Karney's favorite Led Zeppelin songs.

DC Talent to Assemble for MUCHO KLUNCHO TALENT SHOW

Opera singers, jugglers, tango dancers, strippers, puppets, and waaay more! An epic assemblage of talent, the likes of which DC hasn't seen in centuries; performed in three 60-min(ish) blocks, with two intermissions, six hosts, and ten tons of talent! Audience can come and go during the show, forage for foods at any of the nearby restaurants, and get drinks at the bar.

KC Ballet Welcomes New Company Members, Artistic Staff Addition

Kansas City Ballet Artistic Director Devon Carney today announced the appointment of six new members, Kelsey Hellebuyck, Emily Mistretta, Gustavo Ribeiro, Amaya Rodriguez, James Rogers, Kevin Wilson, and three new apprentices, Ivan Braatz, Sarah Joan Smith, and Katherine Sawicki to the Kansas City Ballet Company.

ACT Extends TALES OF THE CITY Through 7/3

American Conservatory Theater's (A.C.T.) highly anticipated production of Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City is already taking off at the box office. Due to high demand, A.C.T. has added two weeks of performances to the run of the world premiere musical, which will now play through July 3, including a new special 7 p.m. performance on June 26, the evening of the San Francisco Pride Parade. A new preview performance has also been added on Wednesday, May 18, at 8 p.m.
