GHOST: THE MUSICAL just began previews last night at The Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. Ghost The Musical is directed by Tony Award winner Matthew Warchus (God of Carnage, The Norman Conquests, Boeing-Boeing) and choreographed by Ashley Wallen (The X Factor, Kylie Minogue). Ghost The Musical is created by a team of Grammy and Academy Award winners, with a brand-new original score by Dave Stewart (half of the multi-Grammy Award winning Eurythmics) and Glen Ballard (Michael Jackson's Man In The Mirror, Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill), with a book by Bruce Joel Rubin (Ghost, Jacob's Ladder, The Time Traveler's Wife), who has adapted his Academy Award winning original screenplay for the stage. This brand new score also includes the iconic song "Unchained Melody," famously performed in the film by The Righteous Brothers.

Ghost The Musical announced today that a limited number of $25 tickets in the first and second rows of the Orchestra will be available through a lottery drawing for each performance beginning with the first preview on Thursday, March 15th. The lottery will open two and a half hours prior to each performance. The drawing will take place two hours prior to curtain giving all participants 30 minutes to enter the lottery. There is a limit of one entry per person, and two tickets per winner. Ghost The Musical lottery winners must be present at the time of the drawing and valid identification must be shown to purchase tickets. Only cash will be accepted to purchase lottery tickets. All winning entries will be checked for duplication and disqualified if more than one entry was submitted. Lottery tickets are subject to availability and will not be available on Ghost The Musical's Opening Night, April 23, 2012.
Scott Alan will record his fourth album 'LIVE' at famed New York City Jazz Club, Birdland on April 30th. Newly added to the roaster of performers is Award Winning Jazz Vocalist Jane Monheit, Broadway and Reality Television Star Laura Osnes and West End performer Richard Fleeshman, who will make his Broadway debut as Sam Wheat in the musical adaptation of Ghost after creating the role in the West End production.

GHOST THE MUSICAL, now entering its second year in the West End, will be releasing over 250,000 new tickets for sale next month, on March 28, taking bookings at the Piccadilly Theatre to April 20, 2013. The musical has now been seen by over 350,000 people.
At the Whats On Stage audience awards, Ghost the Musical's Richard Fleeshman just won 'Best Actor in a Musical' for Ghost. Talking to press after winning, Fleeshman talked about changes to the show that have been made for the currently rehearsing Broadway production, noting that 'We've made it more focused. Some of the illusions have gotten even more incredible and the cast is bigger. It's been very exciting.'

The Lunt-Fontanne Theatre Box Office (205 West 46th Street) opens on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 10am for Ghost The Musical. In celebration, each customer who places an order at the box office on Monday will receive a copy of the London original cast album. In addition, the production has exclusively released 50 tickets for the opening night performance on Monday, April 23rd at 6:30pm. Previously unavailable to the public, visitors to the box office will have an opportunity to purchase these opening night tickets on a first come, first served basis.
