Today we celebrate the life and career of legendary actor, producer and director Richard Attenborough in honor of his death this week at the age of 90.

Happy Birthday, Laurence Olivier! Born in 1907, Olivier remains one of the most revered actors of the 20th century. He was the first artistic director of the National Theatre of Great Britain and its main stage is named in his honour. Olivier's career as a stage and film actor spanned more than six decades and included a wide variety of roles, from the title role in Shakespeare's Othello and Sir Toby Belch in Twelfth Night to the sadistic Nazi dentist Christian Szell in Marathon Man and the kindly but determined Nazi-hunter in The Boys from Brazil. Allan Hawco has been putting in long days in the lead-up to his onstage appearance in Belleville, a play about a dysfunctional couple, on now through May 4 at Toronto's Berkeley Street Theatre.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Judy Greer, Katie McGrath and Lauren Lapkus have signed on for Universal's JURASSIC WORLD, directed by Colin Trevorrow. No word yet on what roles the trio will play.

Directed by SAFETY NOT GUARANTEED's Colin Trevorrow, JURASSIC WORLD also stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. Original JURASSIC PARK director Steven Spielberg will produce.

Reports have speculated that Pratt could take over the role originally set to be played by Josh Brolin. Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson are also in negotiations for the film.

Naples Equity theatre group TheatreZone opens its ninth season "Year of the Composers" performing Andrew Lloyd Webber's rock musical Whistle Down the Wind with lyrics by Jim Steinman, book by Patricia Knop, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Gayle Edwards, directed by Mark Danni, music direction by Charles Fornara and choreography by Karen Molnar. Whistle Down the Wind plays January 6-16, 2014 at the G&L Theatre, 13275 Livingston Road in Naples.

According to Deadline, the Oscar nominee is currently circling a role in the film. Should he sign on, he would join Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson.
