STAGE TUBE: On This Day for 5/22/16- Laurence Olivier

Happy Birthday, Laurence Olivier! Born in 1907, Olivier remains one of the most revered actors of the 20th century. He was the first artistic director of the National Theatre of Great Britain and its main stage is named in his honour. BWW Review: Finding the True Meaning of Christmas with MIRACLE ON 34th STREET at Garden Theatre

I decorate enough to blend into society and usually only listen to Christmas music on rotation at your favorite theme park. So it takes a lot to warm the coldness of my heart and while Garden Theatre's MIRACLE ON 34th STREET did not turn me into a nostalgic mess, it did allow me to appreciate the meaning of the holidays.

Walt Disney Records Releases THE GOOD DINOSAUR Soundtrack

'The Good Dinosaur' takes Arloand the audienceon an emotional journey of self-discovery. Filmmakers opted to tell the story in a new way, relying less on dialogue, while leaning into the power of nature, compelling characters and music that captures the imagination. 'It's a dinosaur movie, so the music needs to be big,' says director Peter Sohn. 'But it's also that classic boy-and-his-dog story embarking on a journey home. That calls for a certain sensitivity to embrace the emotions. Mychael and Jeff are brilliant artists when it comes to setting up a theme that can be sweet and hopeful one moment and strong and powerful the next. And they do it in a unique way.'
