NEWS YOU MISSED THIS WEEKEND:

Broadway Weather Forecast: High of 86 degrees and sunny!

Quote of the Day: Funny man Billy Crystal on the "murky" middle journey...

In my standup work, I always do these characters, older people who are just off to the side. It's easier to write a story about the guy who made it to the top, but the middle is so much more interesting, so much more murky.
-- Billy Crystal (via BrainyQuote)

What we're watching: The first clip of Jessica Chastain and Colin Farrell in the film adaptation of MISS JULIE. Check it out below!

And finally, a Happy Birthday shout-out to Tom Skerritt, who turns 82 today!

Skerritt made his Broadway debut last year in A Time to Kill. He will next be seen on the big screen in A Hologram for the King and recently appeared in The Good Wife. Skerritt is best known for his roles in MASH, Alien, Top Gun, A River Runs Through It, Up in Smoke and the TV series Picket Fences. He also starred opposite Sally Field in the film Steel Magnolias.
