StoryMan Productions to Present a Staged Reading of THE CHRYSALIS

Written and directed by Joe Ricci, The Chrysalis, explores family life when John's daughters (bohemian artist, Vicki, and her workaholic sister, Kerrigan) come home for a Sunday dinner and he drops the bombshell that not only is he selling the family home, but he's also joined 'Silver Foxes,' a dating site for sophisticated singles over sixty.

Now in its 18th year, The Mayor's Charity Ball has been set for Saturday, May 13, 2017. Guests can expect an unforgettable evening out under the stars - and into the woods! - complete with drinks, dinner and entertainment. Hosted by the Honorable Mayor Shari Cantor, the event's proceeds are gifted to two West Hartford non-profit organizations: Playhouse on Park and The Town That Cares.

Jeremy Benton Directs SWEET SWING! Reading in New York 4/20

Broadway triple threat Jeremy Benton adds the role of 'developing director' to his already laudable resume when he stages an upcoming industry reading of the new musical, Sweet Swing!, in New York City next week. Benton directs and choreographs the six-person musical, which has book and music by Diane Tauser (Notre Dame de Paris and Stone Cold Beauty), and tells the real story of a wartime romance during World War Two.

RJR & Associates presents The Zombies: A Musical a world premiere musical comedy with book and lyrics by Max Resto, choreography by Tricia Brouk and Compositions/Sound Design by David J. Rios. Max Resto directs a cast* of thirteen including Phillip Akogu, Tammi Cubilette, Alex Daly, Luis Galli, Sam Given, Tamrin Goldberg, Emily Holland, Rich Hollman, Tova Katz, Russell Kohlmann, Christina Pagan, Alex Parrish, and Thomas Poarch. The Zombies: A Musical is being staged at The Peter Jay Sharp Theater, 416 West 42nd Street (bet. 9th & 10th Avenues) in NYC for a five week limited engagement now through July 13, 2014. *The entire cast is appearing courtesy of Actors' Equity Association.

When Sir Charles Baskerville is found dead on his estate, and the evidence points to a supernatural beast, it is up to Sherlock Holmes and his trusty companion, Dr. Watson, to gather the clues and solve the mystery around an ancient family curse. With a wide array of characters played by only three actors, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's most renowned story gets a gloriously funny makeover!
