What started as just a six-week engagement at the Imperial Palace in 1983, Legends in Concert became the longest-running show in Las Vegas history with 40 years of legendary entertainment and over 22,000 performances and counting.  

Last night, Nov. 14, 2019, Luxor Hotel and Casino hosted the world premiere of the Strip's newest production, R.U.N – the first live-action thriller produced by Cirque du Soleil. The new show is a living, breathing graphic novel that's non-stop tire-peeling, fist-flinging and double-crossing action including combat stunts, fast-paced car chases, cutting-edge technology and innovative multimedia. Audience members were greeted with immersive sensory experiences throughout the evening, starting from the moment they entered the lobby. The gritty, graphic novel-inspired production showcased human performance and special effects from chapter to chapter, as told by brave and fearless characters.

"Raiding the Rock Vault" celebrated its debut at The New Tropicana Las Vegas on Friday, Nov. 7, with a star-studded red carpet event, where Las Vegas celebrities joined rock legends for a special kick-off party. The sold-out show, which pays homage to rock's greatest hits from the '60s, '70s and '80s, was met with standing ovations by the enthusiastic audience who welcomed the show to its new home at the Tropicana Theater.

CSI: The Experience at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino celebrated its fifth anniversary with a special red carpet event, where Las Vegas celebrities came together at the scene of the crime to put their sleuthing skills to work. Among the guests in attendance were EMS Entertainment CEO Christoph Rahofer, Jaymes Vaughan (Chippendales), Dirk Vermin (A&E's Bad Ink), Jabbawockeez, Thunder From Down Under, FANTASY, Ricardo Laguna, Paul Shortino (Raiding the Rock Vault), Jen Mateo (Top Rank's Knockout Girls), Michael Godard and more.

GEORGIA ON MY MIND: Celebrating the Music of Ray Charles was welcomed by The Venetian Las Vegas with a star-studded event coinciding with the birthday of Ray Charles. The groundbreaking new show features a host of esteemed stars including Emmy award-winner Clint Holmes, 10-time GRAMMY award-winning vocal group TAKE 6, six-time GRAMMY nominee and DownBeat artist of the year Nnenna Freelon, and Stella Gospel Award and GRAMMY award-winning saxophone star Kirk Whalum. The show also features the Las Vegas Mass Choir, under the direction of James R. Las Vegas Weekly celebrated its 15th anniversary in true Las Vegas fashion with #Unscripted, a night that featured dozens of the city's elite, at the Havana Room inside The New Tropicana Las Vegas on Wednesday, Dec. 18.
