Este 27 de enero, último domingo del mes, algunos de los más destacados concertistas de Bellas Artes demostrarán su talento y virtuosismo con sus respectivos instrumentos en una serie de conciertos que se llevarán a cabo en diferentes recintos dependientes del Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura (INBAL) y espacios de la Ciudad de México.

Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts spotlights the extraordinary artistry of Jorge Federico Osorio, who makes his Los Angeles recital debut with a program of Bach, Schubert, Liszt, Debussy, Albeniz, Ricardo Castro and Manuel Ponce, one night only on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 7:30 pm. The solo recital, held in The Wallis' esteemed Bram Goldsmith Theater, includes two Chorale Preludes by Bach, Schubert's Sonata in A Major, Liszt's Valle d'Obermannand three Preludes by Debussy. Osorio, a native of Mexico, also performs works by three Hispanic composers - Isaac Albeniz's Mallorca (Barcarola),  Ricardo Castro's Barcarola, and Manuel Ponce's Rapsodia Cubana  andBalada Mexicana. 

Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, a dynamic hub for the lively arts and vital community resource, presents a dozen classical, jazz and contemporary music programs featuring some of the era's most compelling musical artists during the 2018/2019 season. World premieres, programs with thought-provoking social commentary and timeless iconic works are among the offerings.

El joven pianista Saúl Ibarra Ramos, alumno de Anatoly Zatin y Vlada Vassilieva en la Universidad de Colima, y uno de los 12 pianistas de la Cátedra Ricardo Castro 2017-2018, obtuvo un triunfo rotundo en uno de los concursos internacionales más importantes en Estados Unidos de América (EUA), en el que obtuvo tres premios.

Con la participación de más de una veintena de nóveles intérpretes, no solo de la Ciudad de México, sino también de los estados, durante el mes de julio el ciclo de la Coordinación Nacional de Música y Ópera, Jóvenes en la Música, ofrecerá una serie de conciertos, los cuales buscan brindar un espacio de regocijo para el público y ser un espacio de visibilidad para talentos en formación.

The season begins September 21, 2018, marking the third year of programming under the leadership of Artistic Director Paul Crewes and Managing Director Rachel Fine and the sixth for the institution. Michael Nemeroff, Chairman of the Board of The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, begins the second year of his term.

The hit West End production of Motown the Musical recently welcomed its new cast to the Shaftesbury Theatre, where the show celebrated its second birthday last month.

The hit West End production of Motown the Musical this weekend will celebrate its second birthday at the Shaftesbury Theatre and announces that from 6 March 2018 the West End cast will be led by Jay Perry as Berry Gordy, Natalie Kassanga as Diana Ross and Carl Spencer as Marvin Gaye. They join David Albury who continues in the role of Smokey Robinson. Cruz Lee-Ojo, 11 years old from Uxbridge also joins the Company to share the role of Young Michael Jackson, Berry Gordy and Stevie Wonder with Tumo Reetsang, 12 years old from Southwark, London.

The sounds of Mexico, Spain and Arabian Nights will be conjured up by the Las Vegas Philharmonic with guest conductor Alondra de la Parra and guest soloist Pablo Villegas at the orchestra's final Masterworks Series concert for the 2013-14 season called 'Love Around the World' tonight, April 26th at 7:30 p.m. at The Smith Center.

On Sunday, March 9 at 3 pm, Mexican born pianist Juan Pablo Horcasitas will host a CD Release Party for his first solo album “Among Songs and Dances” in the Benay Benuta Hall at Lighthouse Guild, 111 East 59th Street, New York. “Among Songs and Dances” includes music from Bach to Zyman creating a beautiful journey through original and arranged songs and dances for the piano. Works include those by Samuel Zyman, Manuel M. Ponce, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Astor Piazzolla, Franz Schubert, Johann S. Bach, José Pablo Moncayo and Ricardo Castro.
