Tony Awards Administration Committee met today for the final time this season and confirmed the eligibility status of ten Broadway productions for the 2019 American Theatre Wing's Tony Awards®. The Tony Awards Administration Committee met a total of four times throughout the 2018-2019 season to decide the eligibility for the 73rd Annual Tony Awards.

Previous Lucille Lortel Award winner and multiple nominee, Mike Birbiglia, has been announced as host of the 2019 Lucille Lortel Awards, set to take place Sunday, May 5, at the NYU Skirball Center.

Hadestown, the new musical by Anais Mitchell, developed with Rachel Chavkin, will digitally release the show's Original Broadway Cast Recording on Friday, June 7. Additionally, the recording will be available as a double-CD with a release date to be announced.

The Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers covering New York theatre for out-of-town newspapers, national publications and other media beyond Broadway, welcomes 'Tootsie' star Julie Halston along with 'Torch Song' sensation Michael Urie to announce the nominees for the 2018-19 season today, April 23rd. Hadestown officially opened on Broadway on April 17. As per Broadway tradition, the Legacy Robe was awarded to the ensemble member with the most Broadway credits, in this case, T. Oliver Reid!
