Ghostlight Theatricals in association with Rising Star Resort & Casino in Rising Sun, Indiana will present "A Christmas Story: The Musical," a professional dinner theatre production at the Grand Theatre at Rising Star Resort & Casino. Performances will be Thursday through Sunday beginning November 15 and continuing through December 28. Show times are as follows: Thursday through Saturday buffet dinner starts at 5:45 with the performance at 7:00; Saturday and Sunday matinee buffet starts at 11:45 with the performances at 1:00. The Rat Pack Lounge kicks off The Round Barn Theatre at Amish Acres 2018 season of seven upbeat Broadway and Off-Broadway musicals, comedies, and dramas. The season headlines the theatre's perpetual Plain and Fancy, the second longest uninterrupted run of any show in America except for Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera.
When disco diva Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a murder, she is put into protective custody in the one place cops are sure she won't be found-a convent! Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with both the rigid lifestyle and an uptight Mother Superior. Using her fabulous disco-ness and killer voice to inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the church, but in doing so blows her cover. Soon it's nun-on-the-run time but she finds salvation in the heavenly power of her new sisterhood. Based on the mega-hit film, SISTER ACT, the musical will feature songs ranging from Motown, soul and funk to disco and Barry White inspired comedy.

The MTH Theater at Crown Center is pleased to announce the cast of THE WHO'S TOMMY, its second MainStage musical of the season. Artistic Director Sarah Crawford will direct an eighteen person ensemble led by Chicago based Tom Vendafreddo in the title role. The remainder of the ensemble includes Leah Miller, Josiah Mullins, Shelby Floyd, Daniel Vershelden, Ryan Hurza, Eric Morris, Maddox Bane, Delilah Pellow, Beth Borders, Blane Brungardt, Bob Linebarger, Randa Meierhenry, Christian Thomas Owen, Abby Peek, Kenny Personett, Tony Pulford, and Luke Walker. Jeremy Watson will lead the band and choreography will be provided by Kenny Personett.

A chilling start to their 46th season, Prairie Repertory Theatre opened their first show last week: Don't Hug Me. Despite the ninety plus degree weather outside, the cast bundled up, sang their hearts out, and left audiences rolling in the aisles.
