Ian McKellen plays 'Spooner', Patrick Stewart plays 'Hirst', Owen Teale plays 'Briggs' and Damien Molony plays 'Foster' in Sean Mathias' production of Harold Pinter's No Man's Land, which had its West End press night last night at Wyndham's Theatre following a UK tour. No Man's Land was first performed at Wyndham's in 1975 with Ralph Richardson and John Gielgud, following its premiere at the National Theatre.

His genteel dramas would feature such distinguished cast members as John Gielgud, Sybil Thorndike, Ingrid Bergman, Ralph Richardson, Vanessa Redgrave and Michael Redgrave, but his work fell out of favor with the rise of Britain's 'angry young men' playwrights.

In the 60th anniversary year of A.A Milne's death and the 90th anniversary of Winnie-the-Pooh's publication, Close Quarter Productions, in association with Jermyn Street Theatre, today announces a new production of Milne's play THE DOVER ROAD. Nichola McAuliffe directs Stefan Berdnarczyk, Tom Durant-Pritchard, Katrina Gibson, Georgia Maguire, Gareth McLeod, Patrick Ryecart and James Sheldon in the production opening at Jermyn Street Theatre, on Tuesday 6 September running until Saturday 1 October.

Coming up next for Mint Theater Company (Jonathan Bank, Producing Artistic Director; Jen Soloway, Managing Director) will be the first ever New York revival of A Day by the Sea by N.C. Hunter, directed by Austin Pendleton. This will be the Mint's first production as a resident theater company at Theatre Row. Performances will begin July 22nd and continue through September 24th at their new home at the Beckett Theater at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street between 9th and Dyer Avenues). Opening Night is set for August 25th.

Dead Writers Theatre Collective opens its 2016 season with a clear look back at the Oscar Wilde classic, The Importance of Being Earnest. It opens July 1 at The Athenaeum Theatre. "It's the perfect choice to launch our 'Mad About The Boy' theme," states Collective Artistic Director Jim Schneider. "We're celebrating the good and bad side of love - all kinds of love. Our other two shows include a cabaret style production of Noel Coward's sophisticated work in Oh, Coward! and a dramatic look at tragic love with The Heiress. All three shows will be considered for a Jeff Award Recommendation."

Ephrata Performing Arts Center to Present THE HEIRESS

First opening in 1947 at the Biltmore Theater, The Heiress has had a long and storied history on Broadway. After a successful first run, it was revived four times, most recently in 2012. In 1947, a successful film version starred Olivia de Havilland as the titular character. Ephrata Performing Arts Center will be bringing this emotional tale to the Sharadin Bigler Theatre from March 17 to March 26, 2016.
