It's official this evening from Billboard via the RIAA! Barbra Streisand has made music history yet again- this time for having eleven of her albums reach #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Her latest album ENCORE: Movie Partners Sing Broadway was just released on from Columbia Records, and sold over 150,000+ copies in its first week (ahead of Britney Spears, Florida Georgia Line, and Frank Ocean). Streisand continues to be the female artist with the most #1 albums and the first artist with #1's in each of the six decades of her career. It's no wonder she remains 'Broadway's greatest export.' Cameron Mackintosh's production of Claude-Michel Schonberg & Alain Boublil's legendary musical LES MISERABLES will end its acclaimed two-and-a-half-year return to Broadway today, September 4, 2016 at the Imperial Theater (239 West 45th Street) after 1,024 performances. Co-created and co-hosted by Nikka Graff Lanzarote (Chicago, Women on the Verge) and Mo Brady (SMASH, The Addams Family), the podcast has covered everything from the Gypsy Robe ceremony, to the audition process, to what it's like to be a Broadway babysitter during its first three years on the air.
