Starz, a Lionsgate company (NYSE: LGF.A, LGF.B), announced today that the delectable second season of STARZ Original series 'Sweetbitter' will premiere Sunday, July 14th, at 9PM ET/PT on STARZ in the U.S. and Canada, as well as on the STARZPLAY platform in the U.K., Germany and Spain.

Intergalactic stars Drab Majesty have announced a batch of live demonstrations across the globe in celebration of their forthcoming album Modern Mirror.  Their North American run is slotted to run from July 24th through August 30th with Body of Light and Xeno & Oaklander supporting select dates, and their European tour is September 18th through November 2nd featuring SRSQ and Body of Light on various legs — check out all tour dates listed below. 

The Rural Touring Dance Initiative (RTDI) has commissioned two leading dance artists to create brand new shows especially for the rural touring circuit. Rising Los Angeles rock band Starcrawler, fronted by the enigmatic nineteen-year-old frontwoman Arrow de Wilde, just released their explosive new single “She Gets Around.” The first taste of the band's forthcoming, details yet-to-be-announced new album, “She Gets Around” receives a cinematically visceral music directed by Gilbert Trejo, featuring de Wilde channelling her inner Ozzy Osbourne as a suspended, manic angel.

The 29th annual Inside Out Toronto LGBT Film Festival (Inside Out), championing innovative LGBTQ filmmakers from across the globe, revealed its full feature and short film lineup. The announcement was made today by Inside Out's Executive Director Andria Wilson and the festival's Director of Programming Andrew Murphy. Inside Out, which launched the first ever annual LGBTQ Film Finance Forum, has established itself as an international home and incubator for LGBTQ emerging and established filmmakers. This year's festival will take place May 23 to June 2, 2019.

The Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center Foundation will honor Pegasus Transit and David Ralphe with this year's Pillar of the Arts Awards at the Spotlight Awards Ceremony during a dinner and auction event to be held Saturday, May 11 at the Wood Ranch Country Club. Ralphe and Pegasus Transit are being honored for their extraordinary support of the arts in our community. Joining them will be Artists of the Year Keenon Hooks and Andrew Allen, Young Artist of the Year Lucas Panczel, Volunteer of the Year Sharon Gibson, and Educator of the Year Melissa Albertson. According to Variety, actor Joel Edgerton has joined the cast of Amazon's forthcoming series from Barry Jenkins, titled UNDERGROUND RAILROAD.  Set to write and direct is Oscar winner Barry Jenkins (Moonlight), with the series slated to be executive produced by Pastel (Moonlight) and Brad Pitt's Plan B (Moonlight, 12 Years a Slave).

Cold Showers have unveiled their new single and video 'Shine' today. Director Travis Waddell  describes, ''Shine's' textures are a reverent nod to MTV-era music video etherea. Up-and-coming Los Angeles rock band Starcrawler, fronted by the enigmatic nineteen-year-old frontwoman Arrow de Wilde, release a cover of The Ramones' 1989 single “Pet Sematary” for the new Paramount Pictures film, based on Stephen King's iconic novel, in theaters April 5, 2019. Featured in the movie's closing credits, the band's cover of “Pet Sematary” was recorded by Mark Rankin (Queens of the Stone Age, Adele, Bloc Party, Weezer) and mixed by John Congleton (St. Vincent, Sharon Van Etten), and is a wild and contemporary run on the original track. The organizers of Sedona Wolf Week (SWW) are elated to announce that acclaimed best-selling author Rick Lampugh will be part of this year's event.
