The exciting world of Dancing Classrooms, that most people know from the award-winning movies that tell its story, such as the Hollywood film starring Antonio Banderas Take the Lead, Mad Hot Ballroom, as well as Dancing in Jaffa, comes alive on the evening of September 19, 2016 for the Dancing Classrooms Contemporaries' premiere cabaret benefit event,  ELEVATE during National Ballroom Dance Week, (Sept. 15 - 25 ).

ELEVATE will celebrate community impact and artistic success with its line-up of vanguard and live cabaret performances and awards program, all to benefit Dancing Classroom's innovative approach to social and emotional learning, (SEL) with all the benefits of physical wellness,turning 4th and 5th graders into respectful 'young ladies and gentlemen' with self-discipline, self-respect and increased self-esteem. 

The New York based non-profit benefits the emotional development of children in disadvantaged areas through dance.

The Dizzy Feet Foundation (DFF) and The Music Center today announced Christina Applegate, Jenna Elfman, Wayne Brady, Paula Abdul and Elizabeth Berkley as presenters for the fourth annual 'Celebration of Dance' Gala, which will take place at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion at The Music Center in Los Angeles on Saturday, July 19.

The 11th season of SYTYCD begins this Wednesday, May 28th at 8:00/7:00 C. Recently I participated in a conference call with the show's creator, Executive Producer, and judge Nigel Lythgoe. Tickets are on sale now for Lincoln Center's 22nd season of Midsummer Night Swing which will take place every Tuesday through Saturday, June 29-July 17 (except July 13, which will be replaced with a night of dancing on Monday, July 12th). The program will take place in Swing's home, Lincoln Center's Damrosch Park, on West 62nd Street between Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues.
