IAMA Theatre Company opens its 2019-20 12th anniversary season with an award-winning play about a mother and father trying to do right by their son.

Strike back at the Empire! The Trade Federation: Or, Let's Explore Globalization Through the Star Wars Prequels, a new political comedy by Andy Boyd, will make its world premiere September 20-28 at IRT Theatre in the West Village. Allen MacLeod directs the allegorical farce about global trade, the International Monetary Fund, and (of course) Star Wars. Tickets are on sale now at www.irttheatre.org.

Richmond Triangle Players continues its 24th Anniversary season with its Daniel Pearle's acclaimed play A Kid Like Jake.  Sponsored by David Peake, the production - about loving your child, no matter what - opens Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 8 pm, following a low-priced preview on Wednesday, April 19, and runs through May 13.

Next spring, AFT presents another Chicago premiere - Bixby Elliot's comedy ABRAHAM LINCOLN WAS A F*GG*T, a teen's touching and hilarious quest to prove the truth behind our 16th President's sexual orientation.

An evening of original short plays and live music inspired by classic board game titles, Game Play features Peter Benson, Marcia DeBonis, Dashiell Eaves, Brandon Gill, Ben Graney, Susan Heyward, Jessica Love and Carmen Zilles. This production plays 10 performances, today, January 29 - February 8.

LCT3/Lincoln Center Theater's world premiere production of A KID LIKE JAKE, a new play by Daniel Pearle, directed by Evan Cabnet, and starring Caroline Aaron, Michelle Beck, Peter Grosz and Carla Gugino, closes tonight at The Claire Tow Theater. A KID LIKE JAKE began previews on Sunday, June 2, ahead of an official opening night on Monday, June 17.

Caroline Aaron, Michelle Beck, Peter Grosz and Carla Gugino will be featured in the cast of the upcoming LCT3/Lincoln Center Theater world premiere production of A KID LIKE JAKE, a new play by Daniel Pearle, directed by Evan Cabnet.
