Variety reports that Josh Close (The Master) has signed on for KILL THE MESSENGER, directed by Michael Cuesta for Focus Features. Close joins previously announced stars Jeremy Renner, Rosemarie DeWitt and Paz Vega.
According to Deadline.com, Rosemarie DeWitt is the latest actress to join Jeremy Renner in Focus Features' KILL THE MESSENGER, adapted from the book by Nick Schou and helmed by Michael Cuesta, with a script penned by Peter Landesman. DeWitt is in final negotiations for the female lead. Paz Vega also recently joined the cast.

This distinctive revival, co-directed by Shashi Balooja and Maria Torres will be the first to incorporate live streaming video and dance. Maria Torres will also choreograph.
