Yangtze Repertory Theatre of America returns to Theater for the New City (TNC) June 2 to 18 to present the New York premiere of '401[GONE]' by Frances Ya-Chu Cowhig, the prize-winning author of 'The World of Extreme Happiness' (Manhattan Theater Club, 2015). 

Yale Repertory Theatre continues its 50th Anniversary celebration with three productions in New York and New Haven.

Four-time Tony nominee Tovah Feldshuh and the Emmy and Tony Award-winning David Hyde Pierce will be among those appearing in the Drama Desk Award-winning National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene's Mother's Day gala concert, Our Leading Ladies, at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, 566 LaGuardia Place, on Sunday May 14, at 6:30pm.

San Francisco Playhouse (Bill English, Artistic Director; Susi Damilano, Producing Director) continues its 2016-2017 Sandbox Series for new works with the World Premiere of You Mean to Do Me Harm, written by acclaimed playwright and winner of the 2017 Lanford Wilson Award Christopher Chen.

Due to popular demand, Shattered Globe Theatre's hit Chicago premiere of Sarah Ruhl's FOR PETER PAN ON HER 70th BIRTHDAY will add one additional week of performances, extending through May 27, 2017 at Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont Ave. in Chicago.  Directed by Jessica Thebus, the imaginative and moving drama was written for Ruhl's mother, Kathleen Ruhl, who stars in the Shattered Globe production. The American Theatre Wing nominated two plays commissioned by the Oregon Shakespeare Festival for 2017 Tony Awards today, including Best Play. Commissioned through OSF's American Revolutions: The United States History Cycle, Sweat by Lynn Nottage and Indecent by Paula Vogel each received three nominations.

La Jolla Playhouse has announced that the world-premiere, Playhouse-born productions of Come From Away, featuring book, music and lyrics by David Hein and Irene Sankoff and direction by Playhouse Artistic Director Christopher Ashley, and Indecent, by Paula Vogel, have both received multiple Tony, Drama Desk, Drama League, Outer Critics Circle, Obie and Lucille Lortel Award nominations for their subsequent Broadway and/or Off-Broadway productions this season.
