The 2012 Music Circus season continues with The Music Man, theatre's musical tribute to the optimism, warmth, stubbornness and innocence of small town America, at Wells Fargo Pavilion from July 31 through August 5. There's trouble in River City when traveling salesman Harold Hill comes to town promising to form a children's marching band to chase away the city's imagined ills. His plan hits home, but his motives are questioned by the spunky librarian Marian.

After auditioning performers in New York City, Los Angeles and Sacramento, California Musical Theatre Artistic Director Glenn Casale has announced casting for the 62nd Music Circus season, including celebrated stage and screen stars as well as audience favorites from previous Music Circus seasons. The five-show season at the Wells Fargo Pavilion includes Grease, Disney's The Little Mermaid, The Music Man, Fiddler on the Roof and Crazy for You.

At some point in Roundabout's 46-year history, you've likely experienced a play or musical that has inspired you. Roundabout has been fortunate to produce award-winning productions on Broadway for 20 years now. You may even recall our first Broadway production of Anna Christie at the Criterion Center in 1992.

On Tuesday, September 20, 2011, The Broadway League and The Coalition of Broadway Unions and Guilds (COBUG) will present the third annual Broadway Salutes, a public celebration recognizing the countless professionals who have made Broadway great for decades. In this industry-wide celebration, which takes place at 4:30 PM, theater professionals will receive special recognition for having worked 25, 35, and 50+ years in their respective theatrical craft. The event will feature performances by Raul Esparza and Leslie Uggams. Kathleen Marshall and City Council Speaker Christine Quinn, are special guests with other participants soon to be announced.

Due to the impending weather forecast of rain, Broadway Salutes will now take place at the Times Square Visitors Center (7th Avenue between 46th and 47th Street - between The Palace Theatre and McDonalds) this Tuesday, September 20, 2011, The Broadway League and The Coalition of Broadway Unions and Guilds (COBUG) will present the third annual Broadway Salutes, a public celebration recognizing the countless professionals who have made Broadway great for decades. In this industry-wide celebration, which begins with a meet and greet at 3:30PM and takes place at 4:30 PM, theater professionals will receive special recognition for having worked 25, 35, and 50+ years in their respective theatrical craft. National Corporate Theatre Fund (NCTF) held its Annual Chairman's Awards Gala and benefit yesterday, Monday, April 19 at the St. Regis New York hotel. This year, NCTF Chairman James S. Turley, Chairman & CEO of Ernst & Young, honored Nathan Lane (currently starring on Broadway in The Addams Family), set designer Eugene Lee (Wicked) and Wells Fargo & Company. Accepting the award on behalf of Wells Fargo was Joe Kirk, Regional President for New York and Connecticut. All net proceeds of the event will be distributed as the NCTF/WELLS FARGO FUND FOR NEW AMERICAN THEATRE.
