The Christmas Season is Officially Underway With CHRISTMAS AT THE TURBINE

The Christmas season is officially underway at The Turbine. From Sunday 8 December a?" Sunday 22 December the Battersea Power Station based theatre launches their Christmas At The Turbine. Artistic Director Paul Taylor-Mills, has curated a series of special one-off events with some of the West End's most talented stars.

The Paul Taylor Dance Company brings its ever-burgeoning repertoire back to Adelphi University's Performing Arts Center (PAC) with a program of modern dance on Friday, December 13. One of the world's most highly respected and sought-after ensembles, the group honors their late founder Paul Taylor with a performance scheduled to include Brief Encounters, Last Look, and audience favorite Esplanade.

Juilliard Dance to Present NEW DANCES: EDITION 2019

Juilliard Dance, under the direction of Alicia Graf Mack, announces New Dances: Edition 2019 taking place December 11-15, 2019, in Juilliard's Peter Jay Sharp Theater. The first-year dancers are working with alumna and acclaimed choreographer Amy Hall Garner. The second-year class is working with Jamar Roberts, a dancer and resident choreographer at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.

California State University Fullerton will Present Journey Through Movement with FALL DANCE THEATRE

BWW Interview: Paul Taylor-Mills Discusses HIGH FIDELITY at Turbine Theatre

Former Artistic Director of The Other Palace and full-time producer Paul Taylor-Mills opened a new theatre back in August. Well known for his productions of cult musicals, he's now brought a new version of High Fidelity to his own Turbine Theatre. We jumped on the phone to have a chat with him right after press night to hear about his job as a producer and the noise that surrounds his shows.

BWW Review: HIGH FIDELITY, Turbine Theatre

High Fidelity was first a book by Nick Hornby, then a film starring John Cusack and Jack Black, then a rather unfortunate Broadway musical with a score by Tony Award winner Tom Kitt. The action was set in London, then Chicago, then Brooklyn. The music in it has also varied according to dubious reasons throughout the different takes. A new, revamped version of the show has now come to Paul Taylor-Mills' Turbine Theatre with touring beau Oliver Ormson as the leading man.
