Broadway's most daring, curious, and talented artists gathered at Cielo for the Fall 2013 BC Beat on Monday, November 11th, the showcase and dance party with its own rules for sharing work and connecting artists. The evening's choreographers featured: Charlie Sutton, Cindy Salgado, Caleb Teicher, Kyle Mullins, Tricia Brouk, Josh Assor, Rickey Tripp, and Jennifer Jancuska, as well as performers Daniel Watts, Jennifer Locke, Ephraim Sykes, Aurelia Michael, Voltaire Wade-Greene, Masi Yahya James, Amber Jackson, Elizabeth Burke, Macy Sullivan, Ryan VanDenBoom, Matthew Steffens, Heather Hamilton, Shiloh Goodin, Liz Piccoli, Paul Romero, Borris York, Matty Oaks and Rachel Guest. After the success of previous readings in New York and Los Angeles, Mark Wolper, David Geha, Steve Sunshine, Spencer Proffer and Phillipa Sledge are proud to host a workshop production of the new musical comedy, Serrano - Poet, Lover…Hitman!, based on the French classic, Cyrano De Bergerac. Serrano is written by Madeline Sunshine with music by Robert Tepper and directed by Joel Zwick. The workshop presentations will take place today, May 21st at 1PM and 4:30PM and on Tuesday, May 22nd at 2PM at Foxwoods Studios, Studio A (214 w. 43rd St).

The hit stage and screen musical marks 3D Theatrical's fourth production for 2010. Starring in the iconic role of Dolly Levi will be Broadway vet (and L.A.-area stage favorite) Ruth Williamson (Guys and Dolls).
When putting together an entertaining revival of a beloved musical theater entity such as HELLO, DOLLY! it helps to have a fresh perspective of such a familiar show, yet still have enough reverence to produce a work that honors its source material. With absolute certainty, 3D Theatricals' production of the Jerry Herman classic achieves this goal with great sincerity, providing the audience with a thoroughly splendid, fun, and engaging new show. Thanks to its adorable premise that's been brought to life by an outstanding ensemble cast-wonderfully led by Broadway vet Ruth Williamson in the title role-HELLO, DOLLY! will no doubt continue to please its audiences at the OC Pavilion Theatre in Santa Ana through to its final performance on August 1. The songs are well-sung, the dancing is exceptional, and the comedy is beguiling.
