The Royal Shakespeare Company's world premiere production of Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical will transfer to London's Cambridge Theatre on Tuesday 18 October. Check out a preview of the show below!

Matilda The Musical played to sold-out audiences at the RSC's The Courtyard Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon for twelve weeks from November 2010 to January 2011. Roald Dahl's magical story about a girl with extraordinary powers has been a favourite novel for millions of people across the world since it was published in 1988.

Accompanied by Sharon D Clarke as Oda Mae Brown and Andrew Langtree as Carl, Ghost The Musical has new music and lyrics by Grammy® award winning Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard as well as featuring the iconic song Unchained Melody. Last night, April 12, opened its premiere engagement at the Opera House, Manchester running from 28 March - 14 May 2011 for a strictly limited 7 week run before it begins its West End run at the Piccadilly Theatre on 22 June 2011, with booking open for performances until 28 January 2012. The new single will be the first-ever theatrical single to benefit cancer research.

Ian Talbot's production of Ken Hill's The Invisible Man previewed at the Menier Chocolate Factory on 13 November, with press night on 24 November and is booking until 13 February 2011.
