Pulitzer Prize winner playwright Paul Green's The Lost Colony opens the 73rd Season on May 28 at 8pm. Tony Award nominated actress and singer Anita Gillette will return to her hometown of Baltimore to host a workshop based on her one-woman show, After All, for a single performance on Friday, May 14, as part of the UB Spotlight performance series. Gillette's mix of songs and stories will begin at 7 p.m. in the UB Student Center Performing Arts Theater, 21 W. Mt. Royal Ave. It will be followed by a special Q&A and a reception.

The Lost Colony is the 'grandfather' of all outdoor dramas and is produced by the Roanoke Island Historical Association (RIHA), a non-profit whose mission is to celebrate the history of the first English colonies on Roanoke Island, North Carolina.

Ben Affleck presented his longtime friend and co-star, Matt Damon, with the 24th American Cinematheque Award at the Cinematheque's annual benefit gala on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel's International Ballroom in Beverly Hills.
