On Wednesday, November 10, The 2010 Princess Grace Awards were held at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. The Awards ceremony included the presentation of 21 awards to emerging artists in theater, dance and film as well as the Prince Rainier III Award, presented to Denzel and Pauletta Washington, and the Princess Grace Statue Award to be presented to Anna D. Shapiro. The Award recipients hail from cities and states across America and traveled to New York City to receive their honor at the glamorous black tie ceremony. The 28th Annual Princess Grace Awards Gala took place in the presence of Her Royal Highness Caroline Princess of Hanover. The evening was co-chaired by Bonnie Pfeifer Evans. Broadway stars and Rock stars joined the audience to dance the night away when Rockers on Broadway returned to BB Kings Blues Club last night, November 8th. Directed by Donnie Kehr, ROCKERS ON BROADWAY-Dance Party featured some of the hottest dance tunes from Elvis to GaGa, performed by Broadway stars and the Rock stars who made them famous. The concert benefits Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS, Broadway Dreams Foundation, Broadway in South Africa, and The Bendheim Performing Arts Center Scholarship Fund.

The Broadway Dreams Foundation returned to Omaha this summer to present their acclaimed Summer Performing Arts Intensive, a week long performance workshop, Tuesday, July 20 through Sunday, July 25, 2010. Attendees of the week-long BDF Summer Performing Arts Intensive received first-rate training in acting, dance and vocal performance daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. by savvy Broadway veterans who shared their invaluable insider knowledge on the skills needed to make it in show business. Students also learned how to improve their audition skills (song selections and cold readings) and attended classes geared toward college and career planning (headshots and resumes). At week's end, all participants had the opportunity to perform alongside their Broadway idols in a 'one night only' concert event held on Saturday, July 24 at the Holland Performing Arts Center.
