Broadway San Jose presents THE FIRST NATIONAL TOUR OF LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL March 16-21, 2010 at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts.

Newly emerging country singer and Legally Blonde alum, Laura Bell Bundy, today released her first full length music video for her first single, 'Giddy On Up,' off of her upcoming album Achin' and Shakin' (Mercury Records, a division of Universal). Her highly anticipated sophomore disc to her previous Longing for a Place with Nobody Home, is a concept album - part soulful and sultry 'Achin' ballads and part upbeat and sassy 'Shakin' tracks. The Sheldon presents The Sheldon Chorale, 'Yuletide Reflections,' Monday, December 14 at 8 p.m. in the perfect acoustics of the Sheldon Concert Hall. Enjoy refined choral repertoire performed by the 25-person chorale, directed by Allen Carl Larson, and accompanied by musicians from Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra. Patrick Murphy from KETC will narrate and act as storyteller for the evening as patrons enjoy familiar carols, as well as some unusual and beautiful ones, along with Vivaldi's Gloria.

THE FIRST NATIONAL TOUR OF LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL will begin performances in Milwaukee on April 13-18, 2010 presented by Broadway Across America-Milwaukee and the Marcus Center as part of the Time Warner Cable Broadway at the Marcus Center Series. Tickets will go on sale at NOON on December 13.

The First National Tour of LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL began performances at the Orange County Performing Arts Center on September 8 and continues through September 20. The opening night after-party in Founder's Hall was decked out in pink in honor of Elle Woods' favorite signature color.

Broadway In Chicago is tickled pink to present LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL. Having won over audiences across the nation, our favorite blonde law student will make her Chicago debut for a four week limited engagement May 12 to June 7, 2009 at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre (24 W. Randolph St.).

The announcement was made yesterday that Becky Gulsvig has broken her toe and will be out for 6 weeks and that Laura Bell Bundy & Lauren Ashley Zakrin will be alternating in the role of Elle during Becky's recovery, which includes the St. Louis engagement at the Fabulous Fox Theatre from January 20-February 1.

As BroadwayWorld first reported and broke the story on this past Saturday evening, the star of the national tour of LEGALLY BLONDE Becky Gulsvig, who has received rave reviews for her performance as Elle Woods across the country, sustained a broken toe following the performance on Thursday, January 8th and will be out of the show for the next six weeks.

Tituss Burgess, currently starring as Sebastian in Disney's The Little Mermaid, performed a solo concert at The Metropolitan Room on Monday, April 7 at 9:30PM. Burgess offered tunes from Duke Ellington to Jason Robert Brown as well as songs off of his solo album, 'Here's To You,' which is available now on iTunes and Cdbaby.

The Family Tree Collective will present September 12th, a new play written and directed by Michael Swift. It will be presented from August 23rd through September 15th at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe.
