Rob Lowe, the charismatic master of ceremonies to the 'Success Files' series, will host a new segment showcasing agriculture entertainment on Public Television member stations. The program focuses on educating the masses on emerging issues in society.

A mischievous howler monkey leaping from tree to tree, bats beating their wings in a glorious evening ballet, a keen-eyed harpy eagle searching for its next meal and pink river dolphins playfully exploring the waterways create a vibrant escape to the tropics as the Amazon Rainforest comes to life!

Game on! The Chicago premiere of Sarah DeLappe's The Wolves, a 'smart, hilarious, delightful meditation on society, sex and soccer' (The Village Voice), directed by Vanessa Stalling, launches Goodman Theatre's 2018 Owen Theatre season. A 2017 Pulitzer Prize finalist, The Wolves follows a suburban girls soccer team as they navigate life's big questions and wage their own tiny battles-with all the 'bark and bite' (Vulture.com) of a pack of adolescent warriors. Hailed as 'one of the year's best plays' (The New York Times), The Wolves is DeLappe's break-out play that recently concluded an off-Broadway run at Lincoln Center Theater. Stalling directs the Chicago premiere with an all-Chicago company.

Families are invited to step inside the rainforest and get hands-on with a variety of fun activities as the Center for Puppetry Arts celebrates Rainforest Adventures, playing January 23-March 4. All special events are included at no extra charge with paid show admission.

The Factory Theater presents the second production of its 25th anniversary season, the world premiere of The Next Big Thing, playing at the Factory Theater, 1623 W. Howard St., March 9 April 21, 2018. The new play is written by Company Member and Managing Director Carrie J. Sullivan and directed by Company Member Robyn Coffin.

Citadel Theatre will continue its 2017-18 season with Laura Eason's SEX WITH STRANGERS, in its first area production since its 2009 and 2011 stagings at Steppenwolf Theatre. The play received its World Premiere as part of Steppenwolf's First Look Repertory of New Work in 2009 and was restaged as one of the company's regular season offerings in 2011.
