U.S. Debut Of A DEAL By Zhu Yi Opens Off-Broadway, 11/20

Urban Stages, Frances Hill, Founding Artistic Director, will kick-off its 34th season with the World Premiere of Zhu Yi's A DEAL, directed by John Giampietro. This limited engagement at Urban Stages (259 West 30th Street), begins performances on November 15, opens on Monday, November 20 and will run through December 10, 2017. Tickets for are $35 ($25 during previews; $50 on opening and $15 student rush) and may be purchased via OvationTix at www.urbanstages.org or by phone at 1.866.811.4111.

Infinitheatre's Annual Reading Series Returns with New Works

Every year Infinith tre proudly presents Qu bec's newest discoveries in The Pipeline, an annual series of free public play readings where the audience takes centre stage, offering valuable feedback that furthers script development and helps choose future seasons. Guy Sprung, Infinith tre's artistic director, invites the public to be part of the excitement and share their views from Friday, December 8 Sunday, December 10 at Espace Knox. The Pipeline is four plays in three days, including the Pam Dunn 1st Place Winner from Infinith tre's annual Write-On-Q! script writing competition, boasting the largest English literary prize in Qu bec.

Urban Stages to Honor Designer Tony Walton with Lifetime Achievement Award

Urban Stages' Board of Directors and founding artistic director Frances Hill will celebrate 'The Magic of Set and Costume Design' by presenting the 2017 Urban Stages' Lifetime Achievement Award to Oscar, Emmy and Tony Award-winning legendary set and costume designer Tony Walton presented by Broadway, television and film star Melissa Errico ('Billions', My Fair Lady, High Society, Encores' Do I Hear a Waltz?) at their gala benefit at the Boathouse in Central Park at 6:30PM on May 15, 2017.
