Random Access Theatre to Present DRUNK RESTORATION COMEDY!

Random Access Theatre (RAT) is bringing actors getting wasted on stage to a whole new level of classiness with Drunk Restoration Comedy! Following on the success of the One Night Only fundraising event in September, Random Access Theatre is pleased to announce that the drunken fun will continue as they partner with The Players Theatre for a six month run starting March 4th, 2016. Join RAT the first Friday of every month at 10pm at the Players Theatre as they thrust their artistic associates along with some very special guests onto the stage, shot glasses in hand for an audience interactive staged reading of the best known works of the Restoration era.

Auditions Announced for SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK's 45th Season at Shakespeare In The Park

It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves, which is why you should audition for Shakespeare Dallas' 2016 summer & fall season. Auditions for the 45th season of Shakespeare in the Park are being held on Saturday, January 23rd and Sunday, January 24th, 2016. The lineup for this season includes the summer performances of Shakespeare's Richard III, The Tempest and a hilarious production of She Stoops to Conquer by Oliver Goldsmith.

Shakespeare Dallas Announces 2016 Season

?The fringed curtains of thine eye advance and will look upon the 2016 season of Shakespeare in the Park by Shakespeare Dallas. The 2016 season features two classic Shakespeare plays, Richard III and The Tempest, as well as She Stoops to Conquer, by the comedic Irish playwright, Oliver Goldsmith. Prior to the season's opening in June, general auditions will be held Jan. 23-24. The performances of the popular outdoor theater series will take place at Samuell Grand Amphitheater, 1500 Tenison Parkway in Dallas and at Addison Circle Park, 4970 Addison Circle, in Addison, and is expected to draw crowds totaling 50,000 individuals every summer and fall.

Random Access Theatre (RAT) is bringing actors getting wasted on stage to a whole new level of classiness with their one-night only event: Drunk Restoration Comedy! Join RAT on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 7pm at the Triad as they thrust their artistic associates along with some very special guests onto the stage, shot glasses in hand for an audience interactive staged reading of Oliver Goldsmith's beloved comedy "She Stoops to Conquer." This one-off event is being held to raise funds for RAT's upcoming production of "Patronage" which will premiere this December.

LAMDA to Peform at Aaron Davis Hall as Part of CCCA's Summer Theatre Program

City College Center for the Arts (CCCA), NYC's newest center providing educational and artistic initiatives for students and the community, presents students of London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA) in Oliver Goldsmith's She Stoops to Conquer. Modernized from its premiere performance in 1773, CCCA, as part of its Arts Summer Theatre Program will present a cast of eight student actors for eight performances, July 23- August 1, 2015 at Aaron Davis Hall.

Hudson Warehouse Presents SHE STOOPS TO CONQUER, Now thru 7/26

Hudson Warehouse, known as 'The Other Free Shakespeare in the Park,' inaugurated its twelfth season with special guest artist, film and stage star, Steve Guttenberg, in its June production of Henry 4.1. The Warehouse continues their season in July with SHE STOOPS TO CONQUER, by Oliver Goldsmith, directed by Ian Harkins.

BWW Reviews: Stratford Festival's SHE STOOPS TO CONQUER

SHE STOOPS TO CONQUER opened recently at Stratford Festival's Avon Theatre. As you watch it, it quickly becomes apparent as to why this play has withheld the test of time. Laugh out loud humour, beautiful set design, and an excellent cast make for an enjoyable evening (or matinee) at the theatre.

Independent Shakespeare Co. to Kick Off Griffith Park Festival with ROMEO AND JULIET, 7/3

Stratford Announces 2015 Season; 'SOUND OF MUSIC' and 'CAROUSEL' Confirmed

Stratford Artistic Director Antoni Cimolino has announced a season of Discovery for 2015 with 13 plays exploring eureka moments, whether they be scientific discoveries, creative accomplishments, the dawning of a deeper understanding of human nature or the epiphanies of self-knowledge. These themes, as they are reflected in art, science and our personal lives, will be further explored through more than 150 events at the Stratford Festival Forum. The 2015 season will also see a number of creative artists pursuing new work through the Stratford Festival Laboratory, Mr. Cimolino's centre for creative research and development, including adaptations of an early Urdu novel and a children's story, as well as a new approach to four of Shakespeare's history plays.
