Casting and Creative Teams Announced For Theatre Royal Stratford East And English National Opera's NOYE'S FLUDDE

Theatre Royal Stratford East and English National Opera are pleased to announce the cast and creative team for their new production of Benjamin Britten's masterpiece, Noye's Fludde. Combining professional singers, actors and musicians with those of school children and the local community, Lyndsey Turner directs this joyous new production at Theatre Royal Stratford East between 1 and 13 July 2019.

The full cast and creative team has been confirmed for Royal & Derngate's world premiere production of a brand new version by Mike Poulton of Henrik Ibsen's masterpiece Ghosts, opening in Northampton in April. The cast will be led by Penny Downie, James Wilby, Declan Conlon and Pierro Niel-Mee, and the play is directed by Lucy Bailey with Mike Britton as designer, Oliver Fenwick as lighting designer and Richard Hammarton as sound designer and composer.

Director Lucy Bailey has solid form with adaptations of Agatha Christie stories; her Olivier-award nominated version of Witness For The Prosecution is currently a hit at County Hall. She has also directed Dial M For Murder and Gaslight, so it is not entirely surprising that this touring version of Love From a Stranger is a taut and compelling thriller.
