Ukrainian born dancer and former star of The Royal Ballet Ivan Putrov has announced Dance for Ukraine at The London Palladium on Sunday 18 February 2024, following the success of 2022's gala that raised over £160,000 net for the Disaster Emergency Committee's Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.

The Coolidge Corner Theatre (‘the Coolidge’) has revealed the lineup for its Winter / Spring 2024 Dance at the Cinema and Opera at the Cinema series. 

A new production of GISELLE—featuring principal dancer Olga Smirnova, who joined Dutch National Ballet after fleeing Russia at the start of the war with Ukraine—comes to hundreds of selected movie theaters throughout the U.S. on January 21, 2024, with select encore presentations on January 24.

In the second week of Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival 2023, the internationally renowned Dutch National Ballet will make its historic debut in the Ted Shawn Theatre, July 5-9. Week 2 of the Festival will also feature several one-night-only performances on the outdoor Henry J. Leir Stage, including Ice Dance International on July 5, Querencia Dance Company on July 6, waheedworks on July 7, and The MasterZ At Work Dance Family on July 8—tickets for which are available on a Choose What You Pay model. Tickets for all performances are now on sale.

For the ninth edition of World Ballet Day on 2 November, Dutch National Ballet is launching a new series of online ballet classes. Following the previous successful series, a new ballet class will be posted online every week for five weeks.

As part of the 243rd season of the iconic ballet company, several productions by the Bolshoi Ballet are again being broadcast on cinema screens across sixty countries. Manfred Thierry Mugler and Wayne McGregor are such renowned names in their respective fields, a collaboration between them need only be eponymously titled. But for the thrill of the glamour and high-fashion of McGregor + Mugler, this short duet for Edward Watson or the Royal Ballet and Olga Smirnova of the Bolshoi forms only a small segment of an unusual and intriguing triple bill.
