Easton's State Theatre has announced its 2012-13 season- on sale to State Theatre Members Wed, August 1 (Box Office window at 453 Northampton Street opens at 6 AM; Online Ticketing and Phone lines open at Noon). Tickets will go on sale to the Public August 15th at 10 AM. Limit 6 tickets per Member per performance during Members Only sales. Membership to the Non-Profit State Theatre starts at $75, lasts one year and is tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

Legendary music producer Milt Okun is releasing his much anticipated memoir, Along the Cherry Lane, today, Monday, June 13. Milt Okun's book launch event, held Saturday at Bergamot Station in Santa Monica, California, was packed shoulder-to-shoulder with friends, fans, journalists and well-wishers. Placido Domingo, a long-time friend of Milt Okun's, wasn't able to attend but sent a video congratulating Milt on his success.

On Tuesday, December 7th at 8:00pm, New York Choral Society (NYCS) will officially begin its 52nd season with a holiday celebration at Carnegie Hall featuring Grammy Award winners Peter Yarrow and Noel Paul Stookey of Peter, Paul & Mary. Led by Music Director Emeritus, Robert De Cormier, the iconic singers will join the Choral Society in a performance of traditional holiday carols as well as their newly recorded version of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. The legendary duo will also perform a collection of their time-honored classics including 'This Land is Your Land', 'Weave Me The Sunshine' and the Peter, Paul & Mary standard 'Puff, The Magic Dragon'. The festive evening will close with a new arrangement of 'Auld Lang Syne' written by Peter Yarrow and Noel Paul Stookey, in tribute of the late Mary Travers.
