A SOULFUL CHRISTMAS cast member Burgandy Williams will perform at The 2018 Emery Awards this evening - Wednesday, November 7, 2018 - at Cipriani Wall Street (55 Wall Street, NYC). Ms. Williams was a performer at last year's ceremony, singing Aretha Franklin's "Rock Steady." She returns this year with another Queen of Soul classic - "Respect." The event will be hosted by Tony, Emmy and Grammy Award nominee Brandon Victor Dixon (NBC's "Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert"), and also features a performance from singer We McDonald (2017 finalist on NBC's "The Voice").

Opening up the museum for the 2015 season, Bethel Woods Center For The Arts announces Peace, Love, Unity, Respect: The Rise of Electronic Music Culture in America, a special art exhibit inspired by the new sounds and crowds Mysteryland USA has brought to the historic Woodstock grounds at Bethel Woods. Highlighting thirty years of a musical culture, the “PLUR” exhibit will draw connections and relationships across all generations featuring music, lights, interactive festival artworks, costumes, and artifacts from disco, rave, club, an electronic music culture. Presented by The Museum at Bethel Woods and guest curator, Daphne Carr, visitors will learn about the history, aesthetics, and communities that have cultivated electronic music in America. Running through May 31, the exhibit will be open to festival-goers at Mysteryland USA.
Influencer casting agency Socialyte will host its annual #SocialyteGala on Sunday, Sept. 8th, 2013 at 7pm at The Box. The event will benefit the Rescue Paw Foundation, a nonprofit created by London Jewelers founder Candy Udell.
Bringing together top fashion bloggers and lifestyle influencers such as Damsel in Dior, Wendy's Lookbook, and Viva Luxury the #SocialyteGala will award the very best in the field of luxury digital media.
Voting for nominees began Monday, August 26th at Pinterest.com/SocialyteCo.
Final winners will be selected based on amount of repins on Pinterest, with an industry committee selecting from the top three most pinned nominee images.
Award winners will be announced on September 8th at the #SocialyteGala, taking place at The Box, 189 Chrystie Street, 7PM - 11PM. This invite-only event will be hosted by Tumblr-sensation Menswear Dog, and feature master of ceremonies Trey Smith aka DJ AcE, live acts from The Box's theatre, and a special performance by Interscope's Natalia Kills (YouTube). Presenting sponsors include Style.com, Express, Pierre Michelle Salon, Songza, The Hunt, Pavan Liquor and Francis Ford Coppola Wines.
Winners in nominated categories will receive a Socialyte Award, a hanging pendant necklace featuring the agency's signature star logo. Designed by Satu and Celeste Greenberg, the sisters behind New York-based Tuleste, this custom statement piece will only be available to winners of the awards.

Fast-forward 29 years, and ArtCenter re-boots its New York-Miami affair, opening a new window into the future of this symbiotic tale of two cities. The new exhibition I-95 South features the works of seven emerging artists - four from New York and three from Miami (ages 24-33). Alexis Bittar and Nicola Formichetti are teaming up again but this time for the runway. The two designers have collaborated in the past on special pieces for editorials and celebrities including Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Madonna, Alicia Keys and Cameron Diaz.
Rocky wears HOOD BY AIR FW13 that debuted during the designer's first ever New York Fashion Week showing of the collection that has been gaining momentum with an underground following since early 2007.
Lady Gaga allowed Nicola Formichetti to use her unrealsed song 'Cake' as the soundtrack to his Mugler Spring Fashion Show. Lady Gaga was also the inspiration for one of his new handbag line also featured on the runway.
Barneys New York, the luxury specialty retailer, announced today the beginning of the '12 Days of Gaga,' the official countdown to GAGA'S WORKSHOP which will open to the public at 11:59pm on November 21st at the retailer's Madison Avenue flagship location and on barneys.com.
