The Fantasticks star Nick Spangler is about to take the greatest adventure of his life as he becomes a competitor on the hit CBS reality series, 'The Amazing Race', joining him as his teammate will be his sister, Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Starr Spangler. The Amazing Race Season 13 premieres on CBS September 28th at 8pm.

The Fantasticks, the world's longest-running musical, has welcomed two new cast members to its fold.

This Thursday, July 17, 2008 the entire Fantasticks audience will be invited to join the cast and creators of the show for dinner and drinks at a party celebrating the return of the world's longest-running musical. Entry to the party will be granted to anyone holding a ticket for Thursday's performance.

Gateway Playhouse in Bellport remains and is so popular that local residents know better than to drive along South Country Road at certain hours lest they become entangled in traffic either entering or exiting the theater. The Gateway Playhouse is located on the site of the former Mott Estate on the eastern-most tip of Bellport , New York . The Off-Broadway musical revival of The Fantasticks will play its final performance on Sunday, February 24, 2008 at 7PM at the Snapple Theatre Center's Jerry Orbach Theater (210 West 50th). Written by Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones, The Fantasticks will have played 27 preview and 628 regular performances.

Both have appeared in the new production previously.
