'The Fantasticks' Cast to Perform at Summer in the Square

Members of the Off Broadway cast of The Fantasticks will perform songs from the show at the annual Summer in the Square event to be held at the South Plaza of Union Square Park on Thursday, July 10, 2008. The free concert, which kicks off at 5:30 PM, is sponsored by the Union Square Partnership and Theatermania.com.
Erica Piccininni, formerly of the cast of Jersey Boys and currently starring as Luisa, will perform "Soon It's Gonna Rain" with co-star Nick Spangler, who plays Matt. Gene Jones and Steve Routman, who play their meddlesome fathers, will perform "Never Say No." The event will be hosted by Jim Caruso.The Fantasticks is now playing at The Snapple Theater Center, 210 West 50th Street.
