Novato Theater Company Stages 5 TELLERS DANCING IN THE RUIN

Novato Theater Company concludes its successful 2017-2018 season with Mark Dunn's warm-hearted Five Tellers Dancing in the Rain.  The play is directed by Anna Smith and produced by Nick Moore.  It previews May 24, opens May 25, and runs weekends through June 10.

Novato Theater Company Stages Beloved Musical, THE FANTASTICKS This April

Whimsical, poignant, and romantic, The Fantasticks is an allegorical story that focuses on two young lovers, their meddling fathers, and the journey we all must take through adolescent thrills, the growing pains of hurt and betrayal, the highs of passion, the challenges of distance, and the agonies of heartbreak to discover how to truly love.  With music by Harvey Schmidt and Lyrics by Tom Jones, it is directed by Larry Williams with musical direction by David Shepard.  NTC Playhouse, 5420 Nave Drive in Novato.

Oberon Theatre Ensemble (Brad Fryman, Artistic Director) is proud to announce the New York Premiere of HALCYON DAYS, a play by Steven Dietz (Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure) directed by Academy Award Winner Alexander Dinelaris (Birdman, On Your Feet) in celebration of its 20th Season.HALCYON DAYS will begin performances on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the Jeffrey and Paula Gural Theatre at the A.R.T./New York Theatres (502 West 53rd Street) for a limited run through March 25, 2018. Opening night is set for Thursday, March 8, 2018. Tickets are available now at oberontheatre.org.

NTC Stages Arthur Miller Classic DEATH OF A SALESMAN

Novato Theater Company continues its entertaining and provocative 2017- 2018 season with the Arthur Miller classic, Death of a Salesman, one of the greatest plays in American Theatre. The NTC production is directed by Carl Jordan and produced by Candace Brown and Nick Moore. Death of a Salesman runs February 1-18 at the NTC Playhouse, 5420 Nave Drive in Novato.

Theater of Others Updates 400-Year-Old Comedy THE ROARING GIRL 6/16- 7/2

Theater of Others continues its fearless foray into the plays of Shakespeare and his contemporaries with Thomas Middleton and Thomas Dekker's 1611 comedy, The Roaring Girl, or Moll Cutpurse.  Moll is a dramatization of the life of Mary Frith, a carouser, cross-dresser, pickpocket, and street brawler in the lower depths of 17th century London.  Gaby Schneider directs a cast of fourteen at the Theater of Others' home, the Kelly Cullen Community Auditorium, 220 Golden Gate Avenue in San Francisco. The Roaring Girl, or Moll Cutpurse runs Thursdays through Sundays, June 16-July 2.  As with all Theater of Others productions, admission is Pay-What-You-Will.

It is produced and directed by Paula Gianetti and Janelle Ponte.

PETER AND THE STARCATHER Comes to San Rafael

PETER AND THE STARCATCHER (a comedy with music), opens October 21 and runs until November 12 at the Belrose Theater with performances on Friday and Saturdays at 8pm and matinees most Saturdays at 2pm. Tickets may be purchased in advance at www.marinonstage.org or at the door. Ticket prices are $20 for General, $18 for Seniors, $15 for Students.
