Novato Theater Company Presents an Original Musical Adaptation of Dickens A CHRISTMAS CAROL

By:

Along with The Nutcracker, the stage version of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol is the most popular Christmas holiday entertainment in North America. The Novato Theater Company production is an original musical adaptation created by the late Blanca Florido with music by Andrew Kline and Lyrics by Florido. It is produced and directed by Paula Gianetti and Janelle Ponte.

The World Premiere of this Original Work appeared on the NTC stage (at Pacheco) in 2010. It was produced again in 2011 and in 2012. It was Blanca's vision to tell this story through music as she wrote the lyrics and asked Andrew to compose the music. She then gifted the rights of the show to the Novato Theater Company in 2012. This production is a dedication to the memory of Blanca. She left us in body last year, but never in spirit.

A Christmas Carol previews on December 1st at 7:30 pm and opens December 2 at 8:00 pm. It runs Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 pm and Sundays at 2:00 pm through December 18. NTC Playhouse, 5420 Nave Dr., Novato 94949
