On April 8, 1992, Jerry Mitchell and six of the hottest dancers on Broadway danced on the bar at SPLASH, NYC to raise money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. They raised $8,000.
Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS recently announced BROADWAY BARES: CLASSIC, the next edition of their popular 'Solo Strips' series to be held Sunday, June 6 (9 & 11 PM) at Splash (50 West 17th Street). BROADWAY BARES: CLASSIC will feature strips inspired by favorite numbers from BROADWAY BARES' 20-year history. Headlining the evening will be BARES creator and executive producer Jerry Mitchell, who will take the stage of Splash, where he first created the event in 1992.
