54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Ben Thompson in his solo show debut for a one-night-only performance, Tuesday, August 25th, at 9:30 PM.  Thompson will take the audience on a genre-bending sonic journey through some of his favorite songs - spanning rock, rap and punk, to Broadway, jazz and even some original tunes.

The Public Theater announced complete casting today for CYMBELINE, the second show of The Public's Free Shakespeare in the Park season at the Delacorte. Directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan and featuring the previously announced Hamish Linklater as Posthumus Leonatus/Cloten and Lily Rabe as Imogen, CYMBELINE begins performances on Thursday, July 23 and runs through Sunday, August 23, with an official press opening on Monday, August 10. The Public begins the Free Shakespeare in the Park season tonight, Wednesday, May 27 for THE TEMPEST, featuring Sam Waterston as Prospero.

Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director, Casey Reitz Executive Director) has announced complete casting for its upcoming world premiere production of WHORL INSIDE A LOOP, a new play by Dick Scanlan and Sherie Rene Scott, co-directed by Michael Mayer and Mr. Scanlan, the creative team behind the Tony-nominated, critically acclaimed hit, Everyday Rapture, which had its world premiere at Second Stage Theatre in 2009.

Old Library Theatre (OLT) will present the NJ premier of Dogfight. The hauntingly beautiful musical Dogfight by Pasek and Paul (Edges, James And The Giant Peach, A Christmas Story) and Peter Duchan, was praised by countless critics and nominated for numerous awards and won the Lucille Lortel Award for Best Musical. Based on the 1991 Warner Brothers film, Dogfight takes audiences on a romantic and heartbreaking theatrical journey that stays with you long after the performance.

Nicholas Christopher (Motown, Rent), Gavin Lodge (Annie, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert), Jacey Powers (Falling, Our Town), and Jason Michael Snow (The Book of Mormon, Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man) have joined the cast of the upcoming Band Geeks in Concert at 54 Below on January 18th. As previously announced, Clifton Oliver and Allison Semmes will star in the leading roles of Berry Gordy and Diana Ross. Portraying groundbreaking Motown artists, Nicholas Christopher will play Smokey Robinson and Jarran Muse will play Marvin Gaye. Leon Outlaw, Jr. and Reed L. Shannon will portray Berry Gordy's boyhood counterpart and the roles of young stars Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. Tonight, December 19th, Broadway Sessions will celebrate the holidays with an all-star concert event. Paige Davis (Chicago, Boeing Boeing, TLC's Trading Spaces) is set to co-host the event.
