The producers of Rent have announced the cast for the upcoming off-Broadway production that begins previews Thursday, July 14, and opens Thursday, August 11 at New World Stages, 340 West 50th Street, between Eighth and Ninth Avenues.

There is so much heart and soul to be found in In The Heights, the Tony Award-winning musical now onstage at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, that you cannot help but fall in love with every character in the piece, so vibrantly created by Lin-Manuel Miranda (who did the music and lyrics; with a book by Quiara Alegria Hudes).

On Monday, March 29th, New York Theatre Barn will present its monthly showcase for emerging writers and performers at the D-Lounge at the Daryl Roth Theater, which will feature the music of Drew Gasparini, a set of performances by Syracuse University alums, and songs from New York Theatre Barn's upcoming musical presentation of Speargrove Presents.
