Valerie McCaffrey's WWII Short DIRTY BOMB En Route To Being Feature Length Film

Most of Valerie McCaffrey's career has been as a prominent casting director and studio executive both at Universal Studios and New Line Cinema. She has cast over 100 films, including Oscar nominated film AMERICAN HISTORY X and BABE. Recently, she produced a film called LOST AND FOUND IN ARMENIA with Jamie Kennedy and Angela Sarafyan, a cancer documentary CANCER, IT'S IN THE SYSTEM in which she co-directed and co-produced with Cindy Pruitt and produced an award-winning film entitled NEO NED, starring Gabrielle Union and Jeremy Renner.

MTV Announces Categories & Nominees for the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards

MTV today announced the categories and nominees for the 2018 'MTV Movie & TV Awards,' hosted by Tiffany Haddish, that celebrate the actors, stories and moments that drove pop culture in the last year. The show will once again feature non-gendered categories - a change that marked an industry-first historic shift. Airing on Monday, June 18 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT from the Barker Hangar in Los Angeles, additional categories and honors will be announced at a later date. Barn Theatre Announces Their 72nd Blockbuster Season

The Barn Theatre, Michigan's oldest professional summer theatre, under the artistic leadership of Brendan Ragotzy, announced today the 72nd season of plays and musicals to be presented for the 2018 summer season at the landmark theatre. Local singer Rose Mallett will present her new one-woman tribute to Sarah Vaughan, 'Songs of Sarah' at 2 PM on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Arthur Newman Theater in Palm Desert. National Geographic Announces Mary Shelley As the Subject for Third Season of Scripted Anthology Series GENIUS

On the eve of the premiere of GENIUS: PICASSO on Tuesday April 24, National Geographic announced today that the third season of its acclaimed scripted anthology series will bring to life the myth maker and towering literary figure Mary Shelley. From Fox 21 Television Studios, the new season will again be executive produced by Brian Grazer and Ron Howard's Imagine Entertainment, MWM Studios and EUE/Sokolow, and will premiere globally on National Geographic in 172 countries and 43 languages in 2019. The first season of GENIUS was watched by more than 45 million people around the world, and was National Geographic's best performing new series launch ever.

Bill Rauch Announces Oregon Shakespeare Festival's 2019 Season

Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF) Artistic Director Bill Rauch announced the Festival's 2019 playbill today. Jayne Bieber Upped to Senior Vice President, Production Management and Operations, Freeform

Jayne Bieber has been upped to senior vice president, Production Management and Operations at Freeform; it was announced today by Tom Ascheim, president, Freeform, to whom she reports. Bieber oversees ProdCo, the network's in-house production entity responsible for original scripted series such as “The Fosters,” “Beyond,” “Young & Hungry” and the upcoming new original series “Siren.” She also supervises all original unscripted and alternative production, such as “Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings,” short form production, post production, and music.
