The producers of Broadway's Waitress announced that following the performance on Tuesday, March 6 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, acclaimed #1 New York Times bestselling author Jodi Picoult will join Waitress choreographer Lorin Latarro in conversation at a talkback to kick off the hit musical's month-long campaign celebrating Women's History Month.
Blackfriars Theatre Welcomes Broadway's Rick Lyon

Blackfriars Theatre is thrilled to welcome Broadway's Rick Lyon to the creative process for their upcoming May production of the Tony-winning musical, Avenue Q. Mr. Lyon, who originated the role of Trekkie Monster/Nikkie in Avenue Q in the New York production, will join the Blackfriars cast for three days of puppeteering workshops. In addition, Mr. Lyon will be accompanied by the Broadway puppets, who will remain in residence at Blackfriars for the entire run of Avenue Q. That's right - Blackfriars Theatre will have the Broadway cast… well, the stuffed ones, that is.
Skylight Music Theatre Announces 2018-19 Season

Artistic Director Ray Jivoff unveiled Skylight Music Theatre's 2018-19 Season line-up of "firsts" -- five shows that have never been produced at Skylight. "We are thrilled to announce this exciting season of well-known and well-loved shows that have not been produced by Skylight before," said Jivoff. HAIRSPRAY Blows Into Dallas

The AT&T Performing Arts Center and Dallas Theater Center jointly announced today an unprecedented new collaboration to coproduce the Broadway musical HAIRSPRAY which will be the first title on the AT&T Performing Arts Center's Broadway Series 2018/2019 season. The smash hit musical comedy HAIRSPRAY will play 12 performances July 7 through July 15, 2018 at the Winspear Opera House in the downtown Dallas Arts District.
