OC Premiere Of BIG FISH Starts June 29th At Chance Theater

Chance Theater, Anaheim's official resident theater company, is excited to announce the fourth show in its 20th Anniversary Season ... Big Fish. Written by John August with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa, directed by Oanh Nguyen, choreographed by Kelly Todd, and musically directed by Robyn Manion, Big Fish will preview from June 29 through July 6; regular performances will begin July 7 and continue through July 29 at Chance Theater @ Bette Aitken theater arts Center on the Cripe Stage.

BWW Interview: Sandra Dickinson Talks THE UNBUILT CITY

Sandra Dickinson has had a long and diverse career, spanning stage and screen. An American who has lived in the UK for over four decades, she was recently seen in Steven Spielberg's Ready Player One and as Lucille Ball in I Loved Lucy at the Arts Theatre. She is currently starring opposite Jonathan Chambers in the European premiere of The Unbuilt City at the King's Head Theatre.

Williamston Theatre Finishes The 2017-2018 Season With A Michigan Premiere of MEMOIR

Mid-Michigan's award winning professional theatre company, Williamston Theatre, located at 122 S. Putnam Street in downtown Williamston, finishes out its 2017-2018 Season with the Michigan Premiere or Memoir by John Murrell. Performances begin Thursday, July 12 and run through Sunday, August 19. Tickets go on sale Tuesday, June 19.

Classical Theatre Company Announces 2018-2019 Season

A 2016 winner of the prestigious National Theatre Company Grant Award by the American Theatre Wing, Classical Theatre Company (CTC) is proud to announce the lineup for its 2018-2019 Mainstage Season. As the only professional theatre company in the State of Texas that solely produces classical drama on a year-round basis, CTC only produces plays that are 100 or more years old.

The House Theatre Of Chicago Announces 17th Season

The House Theatre of Chicago announces its 17th season of creating "Amazing Feats of Storytelling" with productions taking place at the Chopin Theatre, 1543 W. Division St. The 2018 - 19 Season features three world premiere titles, and two returning audience favorites, creating a diverse slate of epic stories and stagecraft.  The season opens with a brand-new work written by guest artist Bennett Fisher, and helmed by guest artist Monty Cole. Borealis is a brother/sister adventure story offering a heartfelt look at the way we fail each other by building narratives to support our pre-existing worldviews. Borealis plays at the Chopin August 30 to October 21. In the spring, The House will premiere Pinocchio adapted for the stage by Company Members Joseph Steakely and Ben Lobpries, and directed by Company Member Chris Mathews. Pinocchio's wish to become a 'real boy' invites us to reconsider definitions of identity. Pinocchio plays at the Chopin from March 28 to May 19, 2019. 

1st Stage Presents The World Premiere Of SWIMMING WITH WHALES

This world premiere production invites audiences into a world of healing, compassion, and renewal. While visiting his family's secluded cottage on the shores of the Atlantic ocean, Owen, a typically urban fifteen-year-old boy, and his fisherman father clash until an unlikely and healing communion with an injured whale awakens in Owen a forgotten boyhood and connection with the sea.

Road Less Traveled Productions Is Proud To Announce New Permanent Home

Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) will have a new home for its 2018-19 Theatre Season at 456 Main St., Buffalo, New York. For the past three years, RLTP has been staging their award-winning productions at 500 Pearl St. with an eye to moving into a more permanent space. Working with Ellicott Development Company, RLTP plans to completely renovate the former Baker Shoes building, putting in an intimate stage, lobby and bar to provide a new and exciting option for visitors to Buffalo's vibrant and growing Theater District. The new theater venue, located near Lafayette Square, will offer plenty of amenities that patrons value, including a single-floor access, convenient parking, air conditioning and nearby eclectic dining options.

Serenbe Playhouse's PETER PAN Begins May 31

Serenbe Playhouse, recipient of the prestigious American Theatre Wing grant, and named one of the Top 20 theatres in the nation by Playbill, is pleased to present PETER PAN: A World Premiere MUSICAL Pirate Adventure. Directed by Michael Alvarez, the show opens on May 31st and runs to August 26th. PETER PAN: A World Premiere MUSICAL Pirate Adventure will be produced at The Mado Hideaway at Serenbe.
