Williamston Theatre Announces Cast Change for IN OUT OF ORBIT

Mid-Michigan's award winning professional theatre company, Williamston Theatre, located at 122 S. Putnam Street in downtown Williamston, is proud to announce the World Premiere of Out of Orbit by Jennifer Maisel.  Performances begin Today, May 17 and run through Sunday, June 17.  Tickets are now on sale.

Serenbe Playhouse's PETER PAN Begins May 31

Serenbe Playhouse, recipient of the prestigious American Theatre Wing grant, and named one of the Top 20 theatres in the nation by Playbill, is pleased to present PETER PAN: A World Premiere MUSICAL Pirate Adventure. Directed by Michael Alvarez, the show opens on May 31st and runs to August 26th. PETER PAN: A World Premiere MUSICAL Pirate Adventure will be produced at The Mado Hideaway at Serenbe.

Loosely based on Emile Zola's Therese Raquin, Playwright/Director Lane's modern tale focuses on Teresa Rae King, a young woman trapped in a loveless marriage; disappointed by her husband and terrorized by her gorgon mother-in-law, Teresa Rae finally discovers true passion in the arms of Levon, an ex-con. Their plot to free Teresa Rae produces harrowing results pushing them to madness. Sarah Hankins (The Queen's Company) leads the cast of seven -- Melat Ayalew, Patrick M. Ball (Sex with Strangers), Madeline Fox, Beth Glover (Cinderella, Take Me Along), Lorin Kaplan and Stanton Nash (Wicked).

West Coast Premiere Of Sheila Callaghan's ELEVADA Starts 5/4

Toxic Masculinity In Rural England Tackled In Searing New Play At Theatre503

Longlisted for The Bruntwood Prize, Carla Kingham directs the world premiere of Phil Ormrod's searing new play about searching for a future in the dying heart of England. A lack of opportunity in rural England impacts strongly on young men and breeds a culture of toxic masculinity, which the production is looking to tackle with a comprehensive engagement programme with a variety of youth groups in Wandsworth and Reading.
