RLTP Announces Recipient Of The 2018 Shubert Foundation Inc. Grant Award

By:

Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) is honored to announce its 2018 national grant recipient from The Shubert Foundation Inc.

From its website: Established in 1945, The Shubert Foundation, Inc. is dedicated to sustaining and advancing the live performing arts in the United States, with a particular emphasis on theatre and a secondary focus on dance. The Foundation's Board of Directors believes that the most effective way to encourage the artistic process is by providing the general operating support that reinforces the structure that nurtures its development. The Shubert Foundation award is RLTP's second national funding award, following its announcement of being selected 1 of 12 companies nationally to receive a 2017 National Theatre Company grant award from The American Theatre Wing (producer of the Tony Awards).

"RLTP continues to strive for theatre excellence, not only regionally, but nationally and this season, having received both two national theatre grants and national recognition, we are truly honored and committed to continue producing the work that we do and enhance our brand." says Gina Gandolfo, the company's Managing Director.

Road Less Traveled Productions challenges audiences through provocative storytelling and passionate artistry. The RLTP Ensemble constructs bold and imaginative ways to explore, discuss, and understand timely and timeless issues that connect diverse communities, globally and locally, to the commonality of human experience. Our mission is to develop the canon of contemporary voices through production of new and notable works by regional and national playwrights, creating unforgettable live theatre experiences that bring value to our lives. For more information about RLTP and to purchase tickets, please visit www.RoadLessTraveledProductions.org or call (716) 629-3069. RLTP's work is made possible through public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, a state agency.
