Sundance Institute screens several films in the out-of-competition Premieres and Documentary Premieres sections, as well as hosting the Special Events section and welcoming participants for two panels, at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, running today, January 22 to February 1 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah. The Festival is the centerpiece of the year-round public programs for the Institute, which also hosts 24 residency labs and grants more than $2.5 million to independent artists each year.

Opening with a congratulatory dinner for Hannah's soon-to-be Iowa send-off, the same uncomfortable vibes from her parents form around the table, though this time Hannah handles it with a newfound poise and control. Wondering if all it took was an acceptance letter to prove herself to the world, we can't help but feel happy seeing Hannah content and collected. Of course Adam just has to show up late, proving from his thirty-second scene that change is far from him. Still making Hannah's parents uncomfortable, still bitching about his recent career choice of acting, and still unable to show his true feelings about really anything dealing with Hannah's success.

It was announced today that Emile Hirsch (“Into the Wild,” “Lone Survivor,” “Milk”) and Zoë Kravitz (“X-Men: First Class,” “Divergent,” “Mad Max: Fury Road”) have signed on to star in the action-crime drama “Vincent-N-Roxxy,” which was developed and produced by Keith Kjarval's Unified Pictures. Gary Michael Schultz wrote the screenplay and will also direct the film.
