This is not the first time Four Clowns has worked with Shakespeare's text. In 2015, Four Clowns took on Hamlet to receive rave reviews. In 2011 the company produced an award-winning version of Romeo & Juliet, and in 2014 they teamed up with California State University Long Beach to present a version of Ubu Roi called Ubu The Sh*t, a French play based on Shakespeare's Macbeth.

The 1987 rom-com “Overboard,” starring Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, has been remade, and Natalie Morales caught up with stars Anna Faris and Eugenio Derbez. Faris reveals that “it felt terrifying” when Hawn and Russell took her to dinner to talk about the project, but adds that Hawn gave it their blessing.
