Zollar: Uncensored is an evocative retrospective collection of feminist works from the 80's and 90's that were not seen during that era of artistic repression in arts presenters nationwide. Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College kicks off its 2010-2011 World of Dance series on Saturday, November 20 at 8pm with Philadelphia-based company PHILADANCO, performing a program that includes the New York premiere of By Way of the Funk,a new piece created by Brooklyn's own Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, Founding and Artistic Director of Urban Bush Women.

Luckily, the Hen has a helpful little chick who is willing to lend a hand. Performed with rod puppets, written and directed by Nancy Smith with traditional American folk songs.
