The Great AZ Puppet Theater has announced the follow upcoming events.

Choreographers Nora Chipaumire and Jawole Willa Jo Zollar lend their distinct perspectives and innovative movement styles to visible, a new dance theater work commissioned by Harlem Stage and produced by Zollar's company Urban Bush Women (UBW) that has its world premiere at the Harlem Stage Gatehouse October 12-15, 2011.

Leavenworth, Washington, the quaint Bavarian theme-town surrounded by the picturesque Cascades and known for its German delicatessens, brews and brats....and now as an Arts mecca? Certainly!

PHILADANCO, the Philadelphia Dance Company, hot on the heels of a celebratory 40th Anniversary season, will return to The Joyce Theater for a week-long engagement this spring from March 29 - April 3.

A beautiful girl, a wicked step-family, a fairy godmother, a handsome prince and transparent footwear all add up to true love (and lots of laughs) in this extremely popular version of the famous fairy tale. Performed with elegant hand puppets. Written by Nancy Smith and Laura Bonar, directed by Nancy Smith.

THE LITTLE RED HEN: There's lots of sing-along fun in this merry musical about the Little Red Hen, her lazy housemates, and what it takes to make wheat into bread. Luckily, the Hen has a helpful little chick who is willing to lend a hand. Performed with rod puppets, written and directed by Nancy Smith with traditional American folk songs.
