Some of Broadway's brightest talents will perform highlights from the epic Broadway-Bound musical "Akhenaten the Musical" on May 1 at 9:00pm at The Triad. Broadway favorites N'Kenge (Motown the Musical, Sondheim on Sondheim), Vince Oddo (Rocky, American Idiot), and Ted Keegan (Phantom of the Opera, Sweeney Todd) will be joined by Seph Stanek (Naked Boys Singing), John Lucas, Sahar Milani, Alia Munsch, and Erik Ransom.
An all-star line-up of Broadway performers united to honor legendary composer, Stephen Sondheim. The evening celebrated the journey of Woods and Sondheim from stage to screen. Film talent in attendance included actors Billy Magnussen, Lilla Crawford and MacKenzie Mauzy. N'Kenge (Motown: The Musical, Sondheim on Sondheim) returns to Ottawa Symphony Orchestra in a brand new concert with Pops Conductor Jack Everly performing CLASSIC FM: RADIO HITS FROM THE DECADES. The Orchestra will take audiences on a musical journey through four decades of hits up and down the FM dial - from Elton John and Billy Joel to Aretha Franklin, Chicago and more at the National Arts Centre Southam Hall. N'Kenge will be joined by vocalist Ron Remke, Melissa Schott, Jim Hogan and Josh Turner.

The new musical "Akhenaten the Musical" will gather an all-star cast for a demo recording of 7 songs on Feb 15 followed by a 29-hour reading starting March 9.
