Bartner and the Ambassador Theatre Group present the UK and Ireland tour of 'LOVE ME TENDER' - the new musical inspired by and featuring the music of Elvis Presley (a revised version of Broadway's ALL SHOOK UP). Starring in the production are Mica Paris as 'Sylvia', Sian Reeves as 'Mayor Matilda Hyde' and Shaun Williamson as 'Jim' with Ben Lewis as 'Chad'. The UK Premiere of the smash-hit Broadway musical comedy, XANADU, based on the 1980s classic cult movie, comes to Southwark Playhouse this autumn. Press night is slated for Tuesday, 3 November 2015 at 7.30pm; the show runs Friday 16 October - Saturday 21 November 2015, presented by Xanadu Theatre Productions Limited.

Following a highly successful UK tour earlier this year, Denise Van Outen's new one-woman musical play, SOME GIRL I USED TO KNOW, which she co-wrote with Terry Ronald, comes to London's West End with an exclusive run of 24 performances at the Arts Theatre from tonight, 22 August to 13 September 2014.

Following a sold-out and critically acclaimed run at the Menier Chocolate Factory, the theatre is delighted to announce its "breathtakingly funny" (Guardian) production of FORBIDDEN BROADWAY will transfer to the West End's Vaudeville Theatre on Tuesday 9th September - 22nd November, with press night on Monday 15th September at 7 pm.

Performances begin tonight for The Life of the Party - A Celebration of the Songs of Andrew Lippa, a spectacular evening with one of Broadway's most exciting composers and lyricists with David Babani, Artistic Director of the Chocolate Factory, directing alongside an Olivier Award winning creative team. Lynne Page - Choreography, Gareth Owen - Sound Design, Tim Lutkin - Lighting Design and Morgan Large - Set and Costume Design.

New musical theatre is often showcased in fringe venues to test the water and see if the show could have success on a larger platform. Water Babies, however, has its first outing on the stage of one of the largest producing houses in the country, the Curve in Leicester. The production values are extremely high and it is evident that there is a lot of belief in this project. Judging by what I witnessed last night, this production absolutely needs and deserves a future.

Anna-Jane Casey, Sophie-Louise Dann, Damian Humbley and Ben Lewis will star in New York's longest running comedy revue, FORBIDDEN BROADWAY, which returns to the Chocolate Factory from 19 June. This updated version of the show showcases some of the best productions from both Broadway and the West End, including The Book of Mormon, Once, Matilda, Wicked and Miss Saigon!
