Playwright November Christine has just released a moving video from her new musical, Legacy. She explains, 'I have continued to add my voice to the conversation, culminating in a collaborative project '1968: A Tribute for Change' featuring Broadway's Nic Ryan (Beautiful, Motown) and The Overlook Quartet, a NYC based string quartet dedicated to playing works by Black composers.'

a?oeMindful Minutes,a?? the online version of the beloved weekly concert series GatherNYC, returns with performances by The Overlook (string quartet), guitarist Rupert Boyd and violist Jordan Bak. All three performances, which will premiere live on GatherNYC's Facebook page, feature music by Black composers.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to host the return of Broadway and concert star Daniel Reichard, who returned to Birdland on Sunday, May 10 at 6pm, with a show celebrating the music and lyrics of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II. The evening featured selections from the celebrated songwriting team's catalogue, including rarely-heard jewels and treasured classics alike. Directed by Jonathan Gonzalez and sponsored by Jason's Deli, the show opens this weekend October 1, 2 & 3 and next weekend October 8, 9 & 10. All shows begin at 8:00pm, except for Sunday's which are matinees beginning at 2:00pm.
