Casting has been completed on yet another milestone for Catskill's adventurous Bridge Street Theatre - its first full-scale summer musical! But, true to form, it's a pretty off-beat one: Joy Gregory and Gunnar Madsen's acclaimed Off-Broadway hit 'The Shaggs: Philosophy of the World'. Based on the true story of three sisters from rural new Hampshire whose father forced them to form a rock band, and who recorded an album back in 1969 which has since become a cult classic, 'The Shaggs' will play for eight performances only, Thursdays through Sundays July 11-21, in BST's intimate 84-seat Mainstage.

Bridge Street Theatre presents Jen Silverman's THE MOORSComing soon to Catskill's adventurous Bridge Street Theatre is the second production in its 2019 Subscription Series - "The Moors", a darkly comic work from Jen Silverman, one of the hottest young playwrights in the U.S. today. The play opens with a "Pay What You Will" preview on May 30 and plays Thursdays through Sundays until June 9 in the theatre's intimate 84-seat Mainstage in the Village of Catskill.

HBO has released the trailer for the highly-anticipated Deadwood: The Movie. Former rivalries are reignited, alliances are tested and old wounds are reopened, as all are left to navigate the inevitable changes that modernity and time have wrought.

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment presents LOST IN SPACE, The Complete First Season, arriving on Blu-ray and DVD June 4.

Continuing the story begun in David Milch's critically acclaimed, Emmy®-winning HBO series, the feature-length presentation is written by Milch, directed by Daniel Minahan and features original cast members from the series.

Netflix announced today that Lost in Space will return for a second season! The Netflix original series is produced by Legendary Television.

BAM announces the full lineup for the tenth annual BAMcinemaFest (Jun 20—Jul 1). Described as “filmgoers' most exhilarating annual opportunity for discovery” (The Village Voice), BAMcinemaFest has evolved into a platform for both emerging and established filmmakers as well as unconventional and often overlooked films. This year's 12-day festival presents all New York premieres including two North American premieres, and three world premieres.

Sundance Institute showcases bold, independent storytelling at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, beginning with today's announcement of feature films selected across all categories. The Festival hosts screenings in Park City, Salt Lake City and at Sundance Mountain Resort, from January 18 28.
