Artists at Atlanta's Alliance Theatre's costume shop are working to sew masks that will be distributed to Georgia hospitals.  

Alliance Theatre has released the following statement about watching their production online: 

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts' first-ever Education Artist-in-Residence, Emmy Award®-winning writer and New York Times best-selling author and illustrator Mo Willems, will launch an online video series that invites viewers to virtually join him in his studio for a LUNCH DOODLE every day for the next few weeks.

Performances start next week for the Alliance Theatre's family production, NAKED MOLE RAT GETS DRESSED: THE ROCK EXPERIENCE, with book and lyrics by award-winning author and illustrator Mo Willems (Knuffle Bunny, Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, the Elephant and Piggie series) and music by Deborah Wicks La Puma (Elephant and Piggie's: We Are In A Play, Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus: The Musical).  Get a peek inside the first day of rehearsal!

If you have kids, chances are you've read Mo Willems' Elephant & Piggie books. NWCT Artistic Director Sarah Jane Hardy brings the world of Elephant & Piggie to life in an upbeat musical that weaves through eight of his most popular books, including Elephants Cannot Dance, I Love My New Toy, and Should I Share My Ice Cream? The tour is modeled on NWCT's 2018 production, which enjoyed sold-out houses and rave reviews.

Following a highly competitive negotiation, HBO Max has announced an exclusive, multi-year deal with beloved children's author Mo Willems, an Emmy®-Award winning writer, New York Times best-selling author, and illustrator, establishing Willems as HBO Max's very first artist in residence. As part of this two-year deal, HBO Max has acquired streaming rights to Willems' first live-action special Don't Let the Pigeon Do Storytime! from Greg Silverman's media company Stampede Ventures who will produce all additional content under this deal. HBO Max has committed to additional live-action Storytime specials, as well as multiple animated specials based on Willems' wildly popular children's books. The first animated special will be based on New York Times Best Seller, Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed.

Junior Theatre will present the San Diego debut of Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed: The Rock Experience, based on the popular children's book by Mo Willems, February 28 a?' Mo Willems' colorful Pigeon book series comes to life with Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! (The Musical) at Pepperdine University at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, 2020 at the Lisa Smith Wengler Center for the Arts.
